The Locality Neighbourhood Planning Support Programme grant scheme has been on hold for some time, but I hear today that Locality have been in touch by phone with some local some councils with the news that the Programme will be switched back on before the end of this month.
So now is a good time for NDP groups needing support to have a look at the guidance on neighbourhoodplanning.org, review their project plans and get draft budgets set up ready to make an application. Grant funding can’t cover activities retrospectively and I expect that funds won’t start to flow until late June or after, so with the likely ‘end of spend’ in March 2024 the window for action will only be 9 months or less.
